Citadel SQUIGS - old white metal miniatures!

I love these old cave squigs! I painted them some time ago, figured i would share their snappy cool with any readers!

Cave Squigs are found far beneath the Worlds Edge Mountains. They are improbable creatures - part fungus, part flesh, and with gaping maws dominated by row upon row of dagger-like teeth. Although they are wild and dangerous creatures, it is possible to herd them towards the enemy by means of pitchforks, firebrands and the beating of loud drums.

Cave Squigs will be a lively and unpredictable addition to your army. You might find them even more useful when they're herded up together by Night Goblins and pointed in the direction of your enemy, where they can chomp into their units with devastating results.

The figures are now available in resin from GW, they look to be the same sculpts. These are the OOP 90's metal minis. I went for a cartoony look, i was at the time obsessed with the awesome painting of Massimo Colombari in white dwarf 152. His pastel yet vibrant colours were and are still a great inspiration! - i hope these are a decent tribute! I am aware they are nowhere near as good!
