North Star Miniatures - In her Majesty's name Scotland Yard 28mm figures

So - this blog will be dedicated to my finds! Mostly 25mm and 28mm miniatures, war gaming and generally associated stuff! I have painted miniatures sporadically for many years, and recently returned to the world of led! - Having noticed a decent rekindling of interest in the hobby and the spread of many wonderful sites devoted to painting and wargaming it became apparent to me that my collection of miniatures should be shared!
I will be posting pictures and updates about my many miniatures and various painting projects and hope to set up a painting service if there is enough interest to make it viable!
The first set of miniatures i have finished has been a set of "in Her majestys name" 28mm metal minis, from North Star miniatures and to be used in Osprey publishing's skirmish rule set. (all available from the site linked below) - i have no affiliation, just sharing some info.

The year is 1895, and the world is in turmoil. The wondrous inventions of Charles Babbage have launched a scientific revolution that has given the world miniaturized steam engines, electric lights and motors, arc weapons, hydrogen and helium dirigibles, road trains, calculating artillery engines, and sea and  land dreadnoughts.
The one thing these marvelous advances have not  brought is peace. Every Great Power has been jostling its rivals for resources and the latest technology.  Although there have been few open conflicts between the major powers, a  state of undeclared and secret war exists between them all. Instead of  traditional warfare, governments employ small, ‘adventuring companies’ to  strike against their foes, raiding factories, stealing technology and artifacts, and kidnapping or rescuing persons of importance.
In Her Majesty’s Name allows players to assemble their own adventuring companies of 4 to 15 agents, and pit them against their opponents in a  tabletop battle.

From Osprey Publishing - with a 28mm miniature range. Here is the Scotland Yard series, with one extra Special Branch carbineer. Retail Price for the miniatures is around £28 from the site http://www.northstarfigures.com/prod.php?prod=5286

Bobbies with electro truncheons -

Special Branch Carbineers! -
The Chief Inspector, Sergeant and third special branch member.

 Dr Watson! -

Yes, Watson is ginger! - and finally Mr Holmes himself. -

In total there are 12 miniatures, there should only be 11 but an extra carbineer has been included! Figures are painted to a decent gaming/display standard.
I am looking for commission work and testing the water with this set. To be viable realistically i would be looking for £100 for these figures. (plus postage).
