Space Crusade - the ultimate encounter! MB Games - Fully painted & Magnetized marine weapons!

Well it took some time to be honest, those little magnets are a pain in the arse to fit on the space marine torsos
Space Crusade is good fun, a decent entry level game to entice people into wargaming - particularly 40k etc.
I always enjoyed the game but the fact that the miniatures were invariably not painted irked me somewhat.
Inspired me to spread the love and paint up a full set of space crusade to sell to some grateful lazy sod on ebay!
I have painted them all to a basic gaming standard, magnetized the weapons on the ultramarines and blood angels. The imperial fists are not magnetized, no love for the fists eh!
I opted for a dark Iron Warriors look for the chaos marines, simple yet effective - i used this on the dreadnought also. The petrol spill effect is particularly nice.
The orks are good old bad moons! I used some 90's transfers to finish them off.
The gretchen are painted simply, but have a good look on the board, they are wearing lovely jeans!
There are only 2 genestealers on the pic, but i do have a third somewhere, i think he spotted a nice pair of 501s and got side tracked...
